OUR
SERVICES
WELLNESS CARE & IMMUNIZATIONS
Preventing illness is our goal at Dodge Veterinary Clinic, and we do so through expert wellness care and immunizations. Our wellness care appointments include a physical examination of your dog or cat from nose to tail. We will also recommend annual intestinal parasite, bloodwork screening for heartworm disease and Lyme’s disease, and appropriate vaccinations and immunization.
DENTAL SERVICES
Dogs and cats need routine dental services, just as humans do. It is important to not only their teeth but their overall health, too! We offer the latest in dental care, including ultrasonic scaling. These tools allow us to clean above and below the gum lines, polish the teeth to help them resist plaque buildup and x-ray teeth to ensure full teeth health.
DIAGNOSTICS
If your pet is ill or injured, it is vital that we can see both inside and out. Our advanced technologies in radiology, ultrasound, and laboratory services allow us to do just that. We offer digital radiography services and state-of-the-art ultrasound services that are superior in quality and allow for quick opinions of board-certified radiologists if necessary. Plus, we provide on-the-spot bloodwork services as well.
BEHAVIORAL & NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
As your pet ages, their nutritional needs change as well. Our team can help provide nutritional counseling to help them keep an ideal, healthy weight for their breed, age, and body type. Similarly, we can also assist in behavioral counseling as well. This is especially helpful if your pet displays anxious behaviors, inappropriate bathroom habits, excessive barking, chewing, and more.
CHRONIC ILLNESS BOARDING
If your pet suffers from a chronic illness, we have boarding facilities available so that our team can better monitor their condition. Once your pet is healthy, they will be on their way back to your home!
HOUSE CALLS & AFTER-HOURS CALLS
For already established patients and clients, Dodge Veterinary Clinic offers house calls and after-hours calls. This is especially helpful for herd health and individual large animal veterinary needs but can also be used to provide veterinary care for our canine and feline companions, too.
HOSPICE & END-OF-LIFE CARE
Saying goodbye to a faithful companion is a difficult decision. Helping you along this journey is one we take seriously and are honored to do. We will evaluate your pet’s health status and discuss hospice options first. But if your pet’s quality-of-life is such that it is time to say goodbye, we will help your pet cross the Rainbow Bridge with dignity and respect.
SURGICAL SERVICES
If your companion needs surgery, we can help. We offer routine surgical services such as spays and neuters, as well as non-routine surgeries such as c-sections, cystotomies, and lumpectomies. If your pet requires orthopedic surgery, we have partnered with Twin Cities Veterinary Surgery to offer that care.
IN-HOUSE PHARMACY
We offer a convenient in-house pharmacy for our clients! We stock Royal Canin and Hill’s Science Diet for your pet’s nutritional needs; a variety of preventatives to protect your pet against fleas, ticks, and mosquitos; and a range of medical and supplemental medicines to ensure their whole health needs are being met.
MICROCHIPPING
If you have a pet who likes to live outdoors or escape for a vacation now and then, it is important that they are microchipped. Microchipping your pet is the best way to be reunited with them in the event they are lost. Microchips can be implanted at any time.
LARGE ANIMAL SERVICES
We can help with all your needs for your goats, sheep, swine, dairy cattle, and beef cattle. From full herd health care to individual animal care, we offer routine health checks to emergency care. After-hour visits are available for current clients only.
